Brooke Shatney

Brooke is a graduate of Calvin University, where she earned her Master’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2024, after receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree from Assumption University in 2021. During her undergraduate years, Brooke was a dedicated student-athlete, successfully balancing her coursework, clinical experiences, and her time on the soccer field.
While at Assumption University, Brooke was also an advocate for Team IMPACT, an organization that connects children facing serious illness or disability with college athletic teams to foster relationships built on belonging, empowerment, and resilience.
Through her externships at Calvin University, Brooke gained valuable experience working in both school-based and outpatient settings, serving patients across all age groups. She is passionate about developing strong, trusting relationships with her clients and empowering them to find and strengthen their voices.
Outside of her professional life, Brooke enjoys traveling to visit family, staying active, and spending time with her fiancé and their puppy, Nova.
