rindy Dourdis

Rindy Dourdis is an ASHA certified and state licensed Speech Language Pathologist, with over 30 years of experience working with children ages birth-21 years old. She grew up in Delaware County, PA and came to the Jersey shore every summer, but began her career in South Florida. After almost 20 years in Florida public schools, she and her husband returned home to Pennsylvania. While in Pennsylvania, Rindy worked in early intervention programs, as well as, for the School District of Philadelphia, providing services to children with a variety of speech and language needs. A second job change for her husband brought them to Cape May County, where her family has had a home for over 60 years. Rindy and her husband have two grown sons and welcomed their first grandchild last December. In addition to babysitting her granddaughter, she enjoys reading, going to the beach and traveling. Rindy feels lucky to have had a long career working with children, enjoying seeing them flourish and grow into competent communicators. She also finds that the opportunity to communicate in person with their parents/caregivers is a vital part of reinforcing the skills learned in therapy. Rindy feels extremely fortunate to be part of Seaside Rehabilitation and to work with this great group of therapists as she embarks on this next phase of her career.
